High Fashion Queen





I selected "High Fashion Queen"
from 2nd album "Burrito Deluxe" of
The Flying Burrito Brothers released in 1970.


ウエストコースト系サウンドの元祖ともいえる
フォーク・ロック・バンドの「バーズ」☆

1968年にバーズのメンバーだったグラム・パーソンズ氏とクリス・ヒルマン氏
によって結成されたのがフライング・ブリトー・ブラザーズ☆

まぁ彼らのサウンドは 基本的に
陽気なオールド・アメリカンフィールが色濃くって
懐かしい心地よさを覚えたりします☆

では彼らが1970年にリリースした2ndアルバム『Burrito Deluxe』から☆
ロックンロール系のベースラインにカントリーウエスタン調の
メロディを重ねた「High Fashion Queen」をチョイス♪

なんとなくディズニーランドの 熊が演奏してる
" あの辺 " で掛かってそうっすね♪
